　　2016 Revision/Update to F963

　　After five years of work by hundreds of experts on the committee, F963 was updated in 2016.

　　Among the changes, the 2016 revision addresses ride-o*ys with: a new curb impact requirement*arification of overload and stability requirements, and a strap exemption.

　　F963 also adds:

　　new labeling requirements for toys that h*e certain *all coin/button batteries,temperature and current-limiting requirements for lithium-ion batteries, and new requirements for materials and toys that could expand if accidentally swallowed.

　　Other revisi* include:

　　new soaking and compression tests for magnets new requirements andclarificati* related to microbiological safety;clarificati* tohe*y elements requirements for toy substrate materials revised re-quirements for toys involving projectiles; and, clarification of requirements and supplemental guidance for impact haza*.
